Pooly Pals, is a crowdsourcing platform that funds campaigns and initiatives focused on Defending DeFi and securing an Open Web3.
Pixel Pooly, the first Pooly Pals digital collectible, is a customizable NFT where users can buy unique items, accessories and traits. The purchases go directly to funding essential campaigns and initiatives.
The focus of the Pixel Pooly project is to create space for all Ethereans to discover and share their Web3 values. With the added benefit of being used to directly fund essential grassroots campaigns and initiatives to defend decentralized finance and secure an open Web3.
Pooly Pals is a shared universe for all DeFi Defenders. Pixel Pooly is the base, but by using the ERC721K framework, new Pixel Items, Pixel Packs and Pixel Characters can be added to this emerging Poolyverse.

How It Works
Pixel Pooly is the first character release of the Pooly Pals public goods crowdsourcing platform.
This platform allows for a fun way for people to contribute to Defending DeFi through the sale of on-chain traits and items. The funds go directly to DeFi Defender campaigns like Lobby3 DeFi lobbyists and anywhere Web3 is under attack.
Pixel Pooly and other pixel characters are leveled-up by upgrading equipment (traits).
Each collectable is controlled directly by the holder: characters, items, and upgrades. The holder can change and upgrade the traits of their Pixel Pooly at any time. This also gives us the ability to implement the “Birb Signal”, which organizes the community behind a common cause. At the flip of a switch, all Pixel Pooly NFT images switch to a unified image for a predetermined time period. In critical times of need, anywhere NFTs are being actively displayed, becomes an opportunity for Pixel Poolys to show support for important causes through advocacy and fellowship.
